The requirements to run (native) on Joomla 1.5+ are different from those for Joomla 1.0.x and the same package cannot be used for both.

Remository is now released in two versions - 3.43J for Joomla 1.5+ and 3.43 for Mambo/Joomla 1.0.x.

The J version will work regardless of how legacy mode is set.

Both versions have the same code, but the packaging is different.
