Help me about Upload - 2007/02/21 11:14 I like use ReMOSitory than DOCMan but when use ReMOSitory my database SQL very BIG i want upload to host and manage by ReMOSitory Please help me

Re:Help me about Upload - 2007/02/23 12:24 By default, Remository is storing the files in the database. If you don't want that to happen, you can do two things:

1) Change the admin default for new containers from database. This will NOT affect existing containers, only new ones.

2) Edit existing containers, inserting a file path in the absolute path field. It must be a valid absolute path for your server, and you should bear in mind security considerations - either make it outside the document root, or protect it with .htaccess. The files will be moved out of the database automatically - although you will have problems if there are duplicate names or illegal file extensions in the files presently stored in the database.
