Artio JoomSEF - 2006/09/28 15:45 The number one rated extension for joomla is Artio JoomSEF. You can get it here

I like Artio JoomSEF, but unfortunatly is doesnt seem to create meaningful URLs for remository like REMOSEF does.

It seems to just create category urls based on the ID of each category within Remository. Mouse of the links on my site here and you will see what I mean

Does it require a rewrite for remository? Or Does Remository need a different ext_sef file?

Re:Artio JoomSEF - 2006/09/28 20:42 I get a 404 with that link. If it is generating URLs like that, it probably isn't using the Remository sef_ext.php. Since it isn't interfacing to any of my code, there isn't much I can do Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

I'm sure I read on their forums that their component searches through the file structure and finds all sef_ext.php files and attempts to use them. I'm sure it is finding remositories sef_ext file because it is listed in their config screens (where you can choose to disable sef for certain components)

No idea why it doesn't actually use it though
