I just tried out the quickdown mambot and found out that it does not work in custom modules (create module via "new" in "site modules"). These modules seem to avoid the mambots.
So what to do, if I want to show only the files of a folder in a moduleposition? The category module does not have this feature, it only displays categories.

Just a small update...
All I want is module that looks similar to the output the quickdown mambot produces.
