New user -- where do I begin??? - 2008/11/18 17:43
It seems there is zero documentation of this component (an all too common and very unprofessional thing with Joomla! itself and a number of components) short of the admin advising someone to play, which I guess is what I'll do now.
Still, I'd have appreciated something, even something short, explaining such things as what the hell a container is, how the component integrates, if it even does, with such things as Community Builder and Virtue Mart (as examples only) because I simply do not want to spend the time setting up yet another set of user access levels for the site.
(Aside: nor should it be neccessary for each discrete component though I understand this is more an issue with Joomla's stone age ACL set up that component authors. We're stuck with what we're given, right?  )
It's hard for me to say is this is of any use to me or my site when I don't know where to even begin much less anything else.
Searching the forums or FAQs isn't telling me anything terribly useful.
Please understand that I'm not flaming anyone though I am expressing a growing frustration having run across this issue with too too much attached to Joomla! in the past few days.
