Thank you for your quick reply. Let me correct my earlier post. I was having several issue with getting the site set up with the new host and mixed up the 404 with this problem.
I am just receiving a "File not Found" error with a link back to the Remository main page. I have disabled SEF and receive the same error.
I have the document directory outside of the public_html folder with the downloads/uploads folder within the public_html folder.
Old site:
Download/Upload directory:
/homepages/43/myfolder/htdocs/grin/documents/downloads
/homepages/43/myfolder/htdocs/grin/documents/downloads/uploads
Documents folder:
/homepages/43/myfolder/grin_docs

New site:
Download/Upload directory:
/home/myfolder/public_html/documents/downloads
/home/myfolder/public_html/documents/downloads/uploads
Documents folder:
/home/myfolder/grin_docs
