Well, it is not quite that bad! If you are the registered user who submitted a file, and you go to the file detailed information page, you will find a link at the bottom "Update submission". I'm not certain that this does exactly the right thing in all circumstances, but I'd be glad of your cooperation in checking it out, then any problems can be fixed.
In Remository 3.40, this principle will be extended, so that it will be possible to have a user group of "editors" all of whom will be permitted access to files within a particular folder (forced inheritance will be possible).
So I'd be grateful for any feedback on the features currently in the 3.20 beta so that problems can be fixed (the features are frozen now), and also any comments on what you would like to see in 3.40 which is currently under development.
