remository and deep links - 2008/11/02 11:59 Hi

I am converting a Joomla 1.0 installation to Joomla 1.5.

In the past I stored the uploaded file as file. This way it was possible to download the files with the remositry module, but also with a deeplink to .../downloads/xxxxx.pdf.

When remository 3.46 is used, the path is .../remos_downloads/xxxx.number.pdf. The number in the filename makes it hard to create a deep link without having ftp access to have a look at the name of the file.

Is there a way in remository to place the files somehow so a deeplink from other parts of the site are possible?
