File not specified - tried everything...help! - 2008/10/08 03:55
Hi Martin and Remository ,
I'm hoping you can help resolve this - I am getting a "File not specified" error and have tried everything I can think of (and everything on the forum boards) to resolve it:
- Under 2Mb OK, above get the error
- Changed the upload_max_size setting and others in php.ini according to the FAQs on this site relating to this error
- Run Remocheck and get no errors on the larger files. Results show the larger size setting in php.ini
- Double checked all permissions.
Nothing seems to work. One clue we found was that if the file is uploaded through the front end it works. The remository is quite large (around 240 files and ~500Mb) but everything I have read suggests this should be ok. Here are the details of the implementation:
Joomla 1.5.6
Remository 3.44.1J
PHP 5.x
We have plenty of space on the server also. Have you got any suggestions? Really need to get this sorted out. Could there be a bug somewhere that is causing this?
