Feature Request - 2005/09/10 03:27 Hi

Thank you so much for taking over the Glossary component. I am a lurker that has been wanting to use Glossary for a while now but it hasn't quite had the right features without me hacking the code around so I am hoping that you can make this work for me

So the below makes sense here is my config....
Allow Entries: Yes
Anonymous Entries: No
Show Author: No
Show Categories: No
Begin with: Show all entries

OK, in no partictular order...
  • If you install a fresh install of Glossary with no items and the above config then the HTML displayed is not valid (I think a table isn't closed) which breaks the layout of the site.
  • For some reason my site displays two rows between each entry which is strange
  • As you can see from my config above, I don't show the author and only show one glossary and yet when somone goes to enter and item it asks them to enter their details and select a glossary. Personally I really don't like this and think it can be removed with just links to the users id if nessasary.

 Re:Feature Request - 2005/09/12 14:06 Thanks very much for your comments. I will aim to resolve the items that are just bugs. On the rest, my knowledge of Glossary is still growing, and it will still take me time to reach a point where I feel confident to make design decisions. But feedback on what people want is invaluable!
