Uninstalled but not uninstalled - 2008/08/25 00:39
I am not sure how I did this but in the process of uninstalling glossary 1.5 and installing glossary 1.5.1 things have gone awry.
Joomla's extension uninstall/install list in my installation does not list glossary anymore but when I try to install the new version I am told that the directories needed are already being used by another component.
When I check my server file structure I see that the files of a glossary installion are there. So I can't install glossary or uninstall it.
Is it safe to manually delete the component/glossary and administrator/component/glossary directories and attempt a fresh install?
EDIT: Fixed with some database editing. A fresh install and things are working so far.
