Description:

Remository Newest is the module that lists the files most recently added to the repository. It can work across the whole repository, or you can specify a particular category only.  You can install the module more than once, to display files for different categories.

The module honours restrictions on who can see what file. It also now works only on the filedate and not the submitdate. It is compatible ONLY with the final released version 3.20+ of Remository as it is optimised to use common code distributed as part of the main Remository component.  3.20c differs from 3.20b only in having a correction to a coding error affecting the setting of Itemid.

The file date and title are shown, and you can optionally show part of the file description, up to a specifiable number of characters.
