Remository Log Popular 3.20c Download

Description:

Companion module for Remository to list the most popular files. This variant works on the log table introduced with Remository 3.20 and is not compatible with any earlier version. You can specify the number of days of logged downloads to be included. This is probably the best version to use if you are creating a new Remository setup, or if you have established a log table for a while.

This version REQUIRES the final release version of Remository 3.20.  It is optimised to make use of common code distributed as part of the main Remository component.  3.20c differs from 3.20b in having a correction to a coding error to with setting Itemid.

It will work across the whole repository, or you can specify a particular category whose popular files are to be shown.  Or you can install the module more than once, to cover several categories separately. 

Optionally, the file description can be displayed, up to a specifiable number of characters. In any case, the file date and number of downloads is shown. This version honours restrictions on who can see what.
